Who should get counted?
Everyone must complete the 2020 Census.
If you live in the United States, you are required by law to participate in the 2020 count, even if you recently completed another survey from the Census Bureau. If you do not respond, the U.S. Census Bureau will follow up in person to collect the information.
Parents, Grandparents and Caregivers
Parents, Grandparents and Caregivers, please remember to include all your children on the census form. You can conveniently complete the form online, over the phone in addition to paper at a time that works best for you.
Children
Let’s make sure all children are counted in the 2020 Census. All children deserve their fair share of resources they need to thrive and to age with dignity: beginning with child care, public schools from pre-K to college, employment opportunities, and health care at every life-stage.

Important Dates
Mostly importantly, encourage your community to respond to the census online beginning March 12, 2020.
