“The 2020 Census is one of the most important responsibilities of the federal government. It’s how state and federal dollars are distributed, how local communities plan new infrastructure projects, and how businesses determine where to open new stores and restaurants. Our rural communities are some of the most susceptible to be undercounted in the 2020 census, and in order to bring more resources to Southern New Mexico, we must count every New Mexican. As a 2020 U.S. Census partner, I am committed to ensuring an accurate and complete count in New Mexico.”
