NM Representative Gail Armstrong

NM Representative Gail Armstrong

Member of the Statewide Complete Count Commission

State Representative, District 49 (Catron, Socorro and Valencia Counties)

“Rural counties are of the most poorly represented counties in New Mexico. My goal is to make sure they are accurately represented and properly counted for during the 2020 census. Making sure that small counties like Catron County participate in the census will help bring a positive impact to their community by helping identify the needs and the resources they need to thrive, improve school districts and classrooms, and more. The only way we can ensure our state successfully and properly supports all of its residents is by having accurate data.”

Gail “Missy” Armstrong was born in Socorro, NM and raised in both Socorro and Catron Counties.  She has dedicated herself to her family; helping her husband develop one of New Mexico’s most respected businesses while raising four well-balanced children.  Now her focus is on making New Mexico a better place to live, not just for her grandkids, but for all generations to come.
