More than 156,000 veterans live in New Mexico. We live in our nation’s fifth-largest state—with much of our population living in rural areas. All veterans must be counted in order to receive the veterans’ benefits they’ve earned through their service and sacrifice for our country—and to make sure they are accounted for by lawmakers who pass laws which address the needs of our nation’s veterans. The 2020 Census is important. All votes count. “ALL VETS COUNT!”

If you live in the United States, you are required by law to participate in the 2020 count, even if you recently completed another survey from the Census Bureau.
How Can I Help
Achieving a complete and accurate count of all New Mexicans, requires the participation and collaboration of all New Mexicans to count everyone once, only once, and in the right place.
